So, my husband spurred me on to this. Writing on my blog, that is. Not that I haven't been wanting, itcing, really to write. It seems the longer I put off doing the writing, the harder it is to actually do it. And then the longer it goes, the more I know I need to do it, the more I resist doing it. Weird.

Well, like I said, I've been wanting to get going on this thing again for awhile. There are a few Damacles' swords hanging from the ceiling around here--well, actually it's an oragami mobile, but still. It's hanging over my head. The real preassure here is that I'm afraid I soon will have no time to do anything creative.

I've got about 2 months before this ticking time bomb (or I guess I was talking about swords here...) goes off. March 19th baby #2 is due. That's right. Another one. I love the one I got, don't get me wrong, but she does keep me kind of busy, what with the grabbing my circular exacto knife off the desk and making serious scratches on our pre-baby-bought leather couch. And there was the incident involving chewing on the toilet brush. And those things just happened today.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I kind of have my hands full-ish chasing her around. When I do get the occasional 5 min. to myself I usually want to eat or find a comfy way to sit. b/c, as I mentioned, I'm pretty preggers now.

But, what I really like to do, what really makes me feel great (or aggravated if things don't work out right, but aggravated in a good, challenged way) is to make things. So, I guess that's what this blog will be about. The things I can make in the short spurts of time my daughter allows. I have lots of irons in the fire and plenty of desire to do it. Maybe now with my blog going again, it will provide a space for me to show what I manage to get done. I should mention that I consider writing making stuff--even if it's sort of insipid writing like this is right now.

So, now I can no longer feel like I made nothing today. So there.
